Jughead indeed....though I couldn't recall character's name. Reason for hat unclear, but wearers were typically mechanics...

As a side note, the reason for the large number of cylinders on radial aircraft engines?

It was found that anything over about 6" in bore the cylinder and head generated so much heat it could not be reliably cooled by air. as a general rule air cooled engines are limited to bores of 6" or less while liquid cooled engines can go much bigger.

more jugs are just better. I need to make some for 2 of my projects...someday.aluminum with iron liner, I cant afford the SUM bore or the Nikisill stuff. I have some china nikisill in 2mm smaller bore than what I need, but already have some expensive "trick" pistons and not sure I want to trust these china ones even on the smaller bore.(92mm) if I didnt already have these pistons I would go with 100.1mm bore....or bigger.
