I think this should be named how to give a cat a bath.
Clearly this was set up as a lure to entice the cat to climb onto the platform.
I wonder if the tittle of the book holding the tray of water was "How to trick the kitty" by I. m. Curious

I wonder if that would work with squirrels and the bird feeders. They seem to be smarter than the average cat.
While over at a friends house one time after someone had gone to the restroom and apparently had left the lid up a while later we heard the weirdest noises coming from the bathroom. it sounded like the combination of a screaming banshee something being dropped repeatedly and water splashing.Quote:

Harvey you idiot this is the 2nd time this month poor tiger has fallen into the toilet, you know he doesn't have any claws to pull himself out with. go get a broom and raise the lid. Once freed the cat shot out past us and ran throughout the house for half an hour before anyone could catch him and dry him off It was defiantly an adult beverage moment.
Cats are curious critters and the ones that have had their claws removed are not smart enough to know they can't grip things
