    You might want to be careful of using the Nickel-Chromium wire. The reason stainless steel is not recommended in electrolytic rust removal is that it forms dangerous compounds of hexavalent chromium. https://www.osha.gov/hexavalent-chromium If you can find nickel by itself, that would be much better, and safer!
