    Cheap rotary tool motor dust guard.

    Got a cheap rotary tool... works nicely, but design wasn't so great.

    It sucked everything inside itself.
    Printed a guard for it. Now its better to hold too.

    I see your pictures but I don't know what you've deleted/added/modified.

    It would be much easier to understand your project if you;

    1) Show a picture (or more) of the unmodified tool.

    2) Show a picture (or more) of the your new part, uninstalled, and next to the part it replaced, if any.

    Edit:
    I see now, pic 1 is original tool, pic 2 & 3 with your part added.

    A better fix is to change the cooling fan to opposite pitch.

    With your addition, it's still going to "SUCK" and you may have impeded flow of cooling air enough to matter.

    Here's better images.
    Now motor takes the air from the sides, it keeps bigger particles away from the motor.

    Turning around cooling fan wasn't doable. ( with my tools ) Pulling out chuck and the bearings wasn't possible.
