Interesting how there's no commercial factory shown. Just a nice backward stereotype that fits a predetermined preconception.

Travel to China. I promise you, there are no cities in the USA that are even close to being as advanced. Same goes for the food production techniques.

Chinese companies have bought some of the largest American processing factories because of the driven capitalism in China and because they buy the trade methods that allow faster production back home.

You are dealing with a country that has 3.5 times the population of America. A middle class larger than the American population. What's left of the American middle class now (same for Canada by the way) ?

I just hate propaganda from any side. Keep it real. Keep it truthful.

This may be a small, remote village that's been doing it this way for hundreds of years? I agree with mwmkravchenko, manufacturing in China is anything but archaic. Their machinery and manufacturing techniques are much more advanced than ours in most industries.
