Haven't been posting for a while so I thought I share this small chip guard upgrade to my mill. I found this addition to be very needed after I made a flycutter following the video posted by SteelCraft. The flycutter produces an excellent finish but also very nasty chips. They are sharp springlike chips that flies all over my workshop, difficult to swipe from the floor and clogs my vacum cleaner hose.
Here is the excellent flycutter with an ISO30 shank.
The chip guard is mainly made of 5mm plexiglass, two L-shaped corner brackets and six mounting brackets for the neodymium magnets that holds the chip guard to the mill table. The magnet brackets are of aluminium and the mounting screws of stainless steel in order to not create additional magnetic surfaces where chips can pile up.

Here are some pictures of the chip guard fitted to the mill.

In the opening needed for the moving vice jaw I might add a flexible curtain later on if needed.
