    CIRCLE-CUTTING JIG FOR TABLE SAW

In woodworking, there are many ways to cut circles and each one has pros and cons. At the end, we use one or another, according to these conditions, preferences, or the tools we have at hand.

I made this jig in September-2011, for cutting circles at the table saw.

It is a sled where a guide slides along the left miter-gauge slot. A commercial T-track serves to hold the workpiece for each cut with a hold down clamp or with a toggle clamp, and a second “mini” t-track (http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/h...1857#post75289) stands as a pivot, where the workpiece rotates. This adjustable pivot is set at a distance from the jig edge (cutting line) equal to the desired radius.
