Circular Saw Crosscut Jig - Video

Circular saw crosscut jig designed specifically for cutting aluminum trims for AL-13 panel siding system. The video shows the jig mounted to a 3 step, however, it is especially useful mounted in the basket of an elevated work platform ( man lift). Whether cutting rough lengths of base track or precise cap measurements, this definitely speeds up the process.
The sliding sled functionality comes in handy to ensure the control and support the offcut lengths. Just offset the sled to a side that maximizes support for the offcut so it doesn't tip and potentially fall from the basket.
Also, it takes up a lot less space than a miter saw.
Made from 2x8, plywood, scrap AL-13 panel and track, screws and rivets.
