It seems they will tic-tok anything to make people think things are good ideas without any explanations.
The only thing using an exhaust fan on top of a chimney will do is draw out the loose ash layer the creosote buildup cannot be removed this way. Creosote buildup is what causes chimney fires and must be removed by other means, like swabbing with a chimney brush. However, a powerful enough suction fan may help to clean the dead air insulation cavities of double and triple pipe chimneys or be considered as a final stage for chimney cleaning after creosote swabbing. Or a way to drive the greanies insane when they see the ash cloud
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

Also, since this is a video - and videos only show what the creator chooses to show - this clip does not necessarily convey the entire process used here.

Yup. I've cleaned chimneys before. No way that stuff is coming out with a fan. It's like the inside of your chimney grew a layer of tree bark. It isn't moving from airflow. You need to mechanically remove it.

(Attempting to) clean a chimney with a sucker, rather than a blower may be a more appropriate heading.
    No consideration for the neighbours!
