All I can tell you about the Moon landing is that I met Major General Michael Collins when he was commander of the USAF Reserves, late in 1977 or early in 1978. He did not strike me as the sort of person who would go along with a hoax like that. And as for me, I believe he was there in orbit while Neil Armstrong and "Buzz" Aldrin were on the ground on the Moon.

Wow, those stats are amazing. "Religious" is a very different category than "King James Bible Believer", apparently. In Isaiah 40:22 the KJB has supported a spherical earth for over 400 years, and the manuscripts from which it derived did long before that (the word "circle" there refers to an orb, or ball).
And the Lord Jesus Christ Himself (who created the universe, including the earth, and probably would know ;-) ) said when He walked the earth, that it will be both night and day on the earth at the same time when He returns at His second Advent in Luke 17:31 & 34. That was said over 1,000 years before Columbus was born, and couldn't happen if the earth were flat.
I don't understand "religious people"; God has hated religion since those first days of the "fig leaf cult" in Eden ;-), and still does.
