    Interesting article. I have to wonder, are they finished with the underwater data center? Why would they pull it and clean it, it seems it was providing vary nice anchor spots for a lots of marine life...

    I would think that if they don't clean the marine growth on a regular basis the cooling system would fail as it gets compromised and becomes less efficient negating the whole reason for putting it underwater in the first place catch22,and with it not moving ,antifouling not really effective adding that the new stuff they make not as good as the old TBT based foulings.
