Doesn't look like a POS to me! Looks like a pretty good CNC mill!

Fascinating machine, but... there is no scale to until the end of the video.

This could be a huge piece to stainless steel

    The machine is indeed impressive

    You begin to realize

It is just a little boat propeller. NICE boat I imagine, but not a ship

I concede there is a lot of discussion of Boat vs Ship. Unless I am miss-judging the size of that console and cabinet, it is for a boat.

Thats not a ship propeller, THIS is a ship propeller!!!

Calling it a ship propeller may be generous but size is relative

That code it not written line by line anymore. CAM had changed all that. Give the machine a CAD file of the shape. Punch in a few parameters; material, cutters, etc. then stand back and cross your fingers.

The way I heard it was a ship was a vessel which can carry boats on it, a boat is a vessel wh9ich can be carried on a ship. Also strange is all submarines have been called boat. no matter their size. but they fit the descriptive narrative. Boat: a vessel for transport by water, constructed to provide buoyancy by excluding water and shaped to give stability and permit propulsion.
Ship: usually a large specialized, vessel for transport by water.

Subs got the designation “boat” when they were small, carried and launched from a ship. Then as they evolved to be self-sufficient the boat designation stuck with them.
