It has been a long time since I did any SCUBA diving, back in the 60's and 70's. That could be an exhausting job, holding position and moving like that!!!

I wonder if they clean the bottom the same way or just rely on the toxic antifouling paint.

I think that's getting banned. I was on a project 10 years ago looking for alternatives because they were eliminating all copper antifouling. And this was just tiny copper filaments in ropes.

I know when a ship ran up on the Great Barrier Reef "down under" that a section of the reef was killed off due to the paint being scraped off the bottom.
