"What's the swing on your lathe?" Well that depends; How brave are you?

What would be the weak link in this setup? Off-axis and side loading on the spindle?

I've run my mill in a similar setup. The weak link for me was the need for your stock to be the right size for a collet. And just having to wrap your head around the lathe/mill programming. Straight cuts were no big deal, but we had to put some radii on our parts and switching to G18 and processing that through my Grey Matter instead of the computer was painful (for me). Someday I'll make it make sense enough to me to run it through some post processor and let the computer get back to the heavy lifting.
