    I have one of those, while design concept has a lot of merits, I like the unique compactness of it when collapsed, it can be stored almost anywhere.
    but some more attention could be paid to the locks which keep the levels locked in place

    I went up one of these and came straight back down in a heap on the floor.
    I have a 1972 Land Rover Series III Truck Cab/Pick-Up and a 1962 Land Rover Series 2a Carawagon Camper.

    Had a roofing contractor use one (like it) to go up on my roof, about 5 years ago now. He was a skinny young man, but I've never been able to get Frank S' concerns out of my mind. (That, and I'm already ladder poor.)

    If I think about it I will try and remember to drag mine out and show you the locking system. Poorly designed in my book but drilling out the locks and installing lynch pins would solve all ot that only thing would be the hassle of using lynch pins
    My truck driver friend bought it thinking it would be handy to carry on his rig due to the compactness the problem is he weighs over 280lbs and that is above the rating
