This from Wikipedia: As engine fires occurred with the B-36's radial engines, some crews humorously changed the aircraft's slogan from "six turning, four burning" into "two turning, two burning, two smoking, two choking, and two more unaccounted for." We will be taking the grandkids to Pima Air and Space Museum soon and will see the last B-36 built which is on display there. I had occaision to be driving behind the museum during the time they were restoring it at the rear of the grounds and saw the progression of it.
