    Can't tell for sure, but this looks like the lift point failed since the loop that would have attached to it was intact.

    Once the cables are at such angles, there are forces that can overload the system and it gives way. There were speaders for across the vehicle, but nothing front to back. They did get the truck contents unloaded...

    Short loop strop through the rear wheel linked to the long drop strop with a shackle, by the shape on the other side possibly a snap/sprung shackle, that failed. Did whom ever rigged it know there was a second truck in the back of the first and allow for the weight?

    I didn't notice that loop through the rear wheel, I thought it was attached to the frame.

    Even more brilliant...
