Some operators are so impressive. I'm lucky I can operate the glow plugs.

Some guys can do that on the first take. I am NOT one of them, but I know guys that could. Indeed the guys had spent hours and burned lots of fuel, but that was spend doing real work, The skills come with repetition.
The guys who can do that cannot even telll you which lever does which function. Their bodies learn to do make the movements with no thought in regard to which lever to push which direction/.
