I spent ten years trying to teach guys the floor was not a low shelf or a worktable. It only took burning through a 4" thick piece of plate steel to teach them about wearing boots instead of flip flops though, and running mig wire at 300 amps to get them to wear welding helmets. My machinist guys came to me from the Aerospace industry in Sothern Inda, so they were already accustomed to safety glasses

Aren't all wood products made from... ...logs?

It's all in the planning. How else do you have the jigs to form the wood, where to place holes, connections to make.
