The American Black Crow is thought to be the smartest of all birds, and may have an even larger brain proportionately to humans

Crows are very intelligent and seem to be able to understand some simple mechanics...

Had pet crows and pet ravens as a kid growing up on a cattle ranch, both are very intelligent.

There was a case where traffic cameras caught a crow taking some type of nut or pod to a crosswalk at an intersection. When the light turned red, the crow would drop one in the crosswalk, fly up to a perch and wait. After the light turned, the cars went through and some would run over the pods. When the light turned red again the cars would stop and the crow would fly down and eat the nut meat then do it all over again.
