If the operator is any good those very selective grabs should have left quite a few goodies for selective picking.

Insanely stupid waste of resources to crush a car like that. How about returning it to the rightful owner? How about selling it on auction... the proceeds would bring in some nice income. Part it out, as the parts alone would be worth a tidy sum.
But instead, let's crush the car, and get minimal value from the scrap.

Just great - the CAR is now destroyed, the criminal probably got early release. Should have put the criminal in the crusher - good grief, there was no good reason for cruhing the machine.
