Interesting difference in the consolidation between the left and right halves of that concrete. I wonder it is a demonstration some kind of admixture?

In real life situations if you vibrate concrete that long all the aggregate will sink to the bottom and the sand will float on top leaving a very weak concrete.

If you watch closely, the left half was done in 3-5 seconds. The right half still contained air after almost a minute.

That's why I prefer steel frame buildings. I don't like concrete surprises!

It is very easy to burst forms open with a vibrator
