Custom made socket tools for mountain bike suspension forks.
Here we have a prototype I made on my manual mill using the rotary table. It was great fun working out all the coordinates and getting it the tool to fit as close to perfectly as possible. It is made from 7075 aluminum and is for a very shallow interface on top of specific suspension forks. I chose this material to reduce scratching on the anodized aluminum nut it needed to turn.

This prototype followed my first production run of tools, which were also a socket type affair, for other parts on particular mountain bike frames.
