Has never worked that perfect/cleanly for me... then again, my glass cutter does not look that fancy. He left off the part where you have to beat on it with a hammer.

I have enough trouble cutting a straight-line and always have to use the ball on the end of my glass cutter handle to tap the opposite side to make the break work out for me. but my biggest challenge is when I try to cut laminated glass for antique trucks or equipment windows Make 2 score lines tap both sides pour lighter fluid and set it on fire to soften the plastic membrane. much fun, NOT

He certainly has good hand eye coordination. I have never been able to cut glass that cleanly.
