I've watched a lot of these guys install those split units like that. What I find out of the norm though is he is wearing a safety harness with a fall strap attached to the wall. He is barefoot so he won't drop his sandals or flip flops and wasting more time trying to shield himself from the hot sun with the carton, than getting his work completed. But they do that frequently.
