Careful Philip someone will see your darned socks with the contrasting colors and start a huge business taking new socks and adding some colored threads to them then market them just like the ripped jeans they will make millions possibly billions off of them.
I used to have to sit and darn my socks in the Army because there was no quartermaster supply near to get replacements
Never try to tell me it can't be done

I demonstrate frugality city wide; when they see what I drive. At the secondhand store.
