Possibly, though hitting any munition/warhead may detonate it too.

The term "hoist by your own petard" might apply here. Personally, I'd want to be a hundred yards away, maybe more.

Probably not the munition/ warhead, but the propellant in the missile certainly would

I had never heard that before. I was not a fan of Shakespeare in high school. He is still not at the top of my reading list. I am more curious about things now, so I had to look it up. This is the most entertaining explaination. But there are a bunch of adds on the page.
