dimple punch and die
To make dimpled washers or spacers I find the easiest way is to simply turn a piece of round bar to the angle I want to make the shape,
I sometimes need conical shaped washers to place under the heads of countersunk screws or to use them as spacers for other things
Today I needed one as a spacer to adjust the length of a steel hydraulic tube, so I turned a rod for the punch and used a tubing flare nut as the die
