I think I missed an ingredient. What's that bag of white powder? Anyway that's really neat and has a ton of uses, but what I'm after is intumescent paint so my shop doesn't burn down. Could you modify so it inhibits fire?

The white powder is perlite. For nonflammable paint:
Binder (base): In most cases, it is an inorganic modified liquid glass (potassium or sodium silicates). It provides heat resistance and strong adhesion to mineral surfaces (concrete, brick, plaster).Mineral fillers: Natural heat-resistant fine materials (chalk, marble chips, perlite, mica).
