I like the design but I question the filter medium. Does the foam filter or cool the air to take the reduce the health risks? Do you still smell the resin fumes on the exhaust side? I have heard of more than a few people developing throat cancer that circuit boards from the fumes. It always makes me cautious even though my exposure to the fumes would be a lot less.

Any system that keeps the smoke out of your face is useful, but it would be better to know the carcinogens were taken out of the air.
