super!! i love it: i am a shooter..
Now someone builds a press...After I have bought 6 Lee presses and one RCBS. LOL!!!! Fantastic-looking work. Great concept to rotate the die plate instead of the shell holder like Lee does. If there is enough room between the die plate and ram, once could load .50 caliber just by building another plate and drilling and tapping it for the larger dies.
oui.excellent design,all steel...like as Lyman Turret
perhaps one day an automatic rotation?
What do you have for powder metering

Depending on what specific 50 caliber round you are thinking about, there may not be enough travel for the cartridge length, or enough strength to properly resize that large case.

I don't remember the name right now (Hollywood I think) but back in the 50's-60's there was a similar press like this but the center shaft was about 4-5" in diameter ant the top plate held 6-8 dies, powder measure etc.
What kind of license/permit is needed to own a firearm in Brazil. My daughter in law is from Brazil.
Very nice Celso,
The bullet feeder makes perfect sense now!!
Muito bom Celso,
O alimentador de balas faz todo o sentido agora!!

4-5" diameter??? super big reload press!!
Not quite 5" but close. I remember a friend of mine had one not quite like the one in the picture, it had a full circle die holder.Attachment 44608
There a few different styles, a junior and a senior. That one in the picture has a cast base but others have a round center column.
Having used a multi-station sequential press for shotgun reloads I did consider a progressive for metallic ammo too, but as I'm a critical reloader 10th Gn isn't accurate enough so I check weigh every charge, be it 'dipped' or 'thrown'. So I've stayed with single station presses and 'Lee-loaders' for basic loading, do like your press though, and if I was shooting loads of standard pistol ammo I might have built one. Sadly though I shoot .357 Mag, it's through a Mod 94 carbine and the loads are treated like my other rifle calibres for consistency.

Excellent indexing design. Simple and effective. Break-away force is easily adjustable via spring modification and/or the number of bearings.
Thanks mate
