    Lightbulb Doc's Tool Spinner

    Hi all

Here is a small rotating bench top tool holder thingy I made for my new 'metalwork' workshop (actually it's a 3m by 3m shed that has stuff that doesn't live in my wooden toy workshop)

The spinner is made from scrap pine and a couple of bits of ply from the 'projects-in-waiting' box and four old bed casters that I found in a box.

    Enjoy.

I can put up a tutorial type thingy if you want - I took heaps of piccies during the build, as you do.

    Regards

    Doc

    Hi Doc,
Good idea, it's always good to use the vertical space.
So you will put hooks or pins to hold the tools ?
It could be a good idea to make a rotating woodturning gouges rack.
    Thanks !
    Christophe

    Doc's Tools
    Thanks Christophe.

Currently it has a hacksaw, a hammer and two pairs of pliers hanging on screws - I'm currently undergoing resorting/relocating of my workshops around my property.

Being very new to metalwork, I only have an inverter arc welder, an old big arc welder and a gasless mig (contradiction??) so have no idea how many more tools I need to hang or how

Just an excuse to use some scraps up, really, rather than find somewhere else to store them.

I made a larger unit yonks ago for more of my regularly used woodworking tools. I'll post a piccy up when I find it.

    Regards

    Doc

    Hi Doc,

Looks like I could use something like that for storing saws...

    Cheers,
    Rob
