Here's another tool spinner/storage unit thingy that I made ages ago. The revolving bit sits on top of another storage unit on casters.

To work out which tools I used frequently I laid each tool out on a spare table each time I used it since, like most of us, I have heaps of tools but only actually use a small amount on a regular basis.

Made mainly from pine since I always have heaps of that on hand, as well as a few bits of ply.

Four reasonably heavy duty casters allow for easy movement of the spinning part (like a lazy Susan (who was Susan?) and slightly larger casters on the base of the box makes it easy to move around on my concrete workshop floor as required.
