A trained working animal such as a sled dog, mule, horse, oxen, ETC, will happily pull until their heart explodes or their muscles shatter their bones for the rewards they receive afterwards. The cruelty comes ot play when people turn their abilities into a completive sport. The same thing with horse camel and greyhound racing. or any other sport purely to test an animal beyond their abilities and endurance.
