I saw an ultra-high speed pick-and-place robot years ago, but I can't find the video now. The thing was amazing. It moved so fast you couldn't even track it with your eyes. Anyway, here's some other ones:
Certainly could outdo Lucy and Ethel on the candy line :-)

One thing that is difficult to detect when watching these is the deceleration that occurs just before it stops to place the item in it's exact position. Without that the accuracy would suffer and that could be a critical failure to the application.
