    Double Disc Sander

    Double Disc Sander

A few years ago, I made a dual disc sander with 2 different grits on two discs.
Later I have found that it is mainly used for shaping, and the right disc with the 120 grit abrasive is seldom used.
But it was a fun build and you can read the build article here:

    Building the double disc sander

Due to a narrow passageway, I had to make the table foldable.

Here are some images from the build:

Very interesting multi-sander theme between this build and your Tower Sander. Reminds me how much shop time is spent simply switching abrasives.

    Thanks Jon
I have to admit that sanding is not my favorite activity(and I doubt its anybodys.....) so I have been looking for options to help me along with this part.
And if it is to much trouble changing abrasive grits, one is most likely to maybe skip a few.

Beautiful work, changing sanding discs is time consuming but you figured out a way to over come that, good job
