Dovetail sliding table with dust collection

Anyone who owns an economy router dovetail jig will attest to the mess of sawdust it creates. I borrowed this idea from a YouTube video I saw. I made a few improvements that made routing dovetails a whole lot smoother. The full extension drawer slide provides smooth transitions and the small shelf at the end provides a resting place for the router as pieces are swapped out. Along with my router with built in dust collection and the port under the table this jig collects 99% of the dust.

I got one of those jigs. Dust is the least of my concerns with it either. I never could get the thing to work worth a damn over here. I'd rather cut dovetails by hand than use it.

I can attest to how confusing it is to get to work. I figured it out once. I can hand cut dovetails faster than it takes me to figure out how to use the danged thing.
