Hello. New guy here. I’m always figuring out ways to fab my own solutions to the problems I encounter. Sometimes my ideas work great and other times not so much. Right now I’m making my own counter tops out of maple. I was involved from log stage to a 3/4” planed board. They very in length and in width. I have always enjoyed the vintage or more involved way of doing things. I guess that’s why I hunted with a recurve and made my own arrows. And tied my own flies for fly fishing. Now, I wanted to restore a 1910 Stanley/Bailey No 7 plane and use it as my jointer for the counter. Hence me being here. I was looking for ideas on a blade guide for honing.
