Drill press DRO from cheap calliper

Bought a cheap digital calliper from ebay and fixed it on my drill press. Now I have an accurate (and cheap) depth DRO.

I like it. I have been meaning to do this to my drill press. How did you sercure the plastic portion of the caliper to the bracket on the headstock?

Had made two holes in a small portion left from calliper moveable leg

Edit! Holes on back of calliper.
