Now that is a serious piece of equipment. Thanks for posting this. By the way, is that a Bahco adjustable wrench?

Nice piece of kit Tuomas; I may still have a few dead rt angle grinders stashed away that would be ideal for a project like that but most of my grinders when they die it is the gear head that goes before the motor, or by the time the motor lays down the gear head is pretty much toast as well.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

I managed to burn two bosch grinders at the same day. Both overheated and motor burnt.

So, now i have material for another kind of version too.

Broken grinders we're kind of lucky strike to me.. picture about them leaded to result that i got sponsorship from Metabo and 3M. Social media is strange place...

I can remember when Bosch was Bosch. Not sure what they are today, but sure nowhere near the quality their power tools were 30 years ago. But if you needed a grinder heavy duty enough to run a 7" cup brush all day long you needed a 2400 watt 9" AEG 25 lbs of hang on tight or be whipped like a redheaded stepchild caught stealing pennies.
Metabo makes fine tools, and I freely admit that I have too much tendency to abuse angle grinders
