Nothing fancy, but it works. A cheap clamp-style stop for a mill, drilled out and fitted with a 1/4 20 carriage bolt, a t-nut and a cast iron spigot handle.
The offset makes it easier to operate the knob.

Here's a better view of the post, which is just two bolts welded together.
