A fine build I would even consider a must have for many shops, clamping methods like this one work really well for those times when you only need a few washers drilled out, as well as the need for having a clamp for a range of diameters and thicknesses with the same clamping jig.
Once you find yourself requiring a hand full of washers or need all of them to have a slightly higher precision hole diameter that is when it is time to look at making lantern chuck clamping devices, with those you can hold a stack of washers bore or drill the holes to the required diameter. I have posted many of them of varying sizes and others have posted theirs as well. The downside to these is we must make a lantern clamping chuck for each OD washer we need to enlarge the hole in. the upside is we can to multiples in number for each time we chuck up the washers.
Your tool fills in part of the void in 1 area while not being able to address another, much the same as with the lantern chucks. This is why we must build many different tools since no single tool can solve every problem.
