What would all of those drones be need for unless they are for the government to keep watch over everyone. as if having cameras located in every streetlight and traffic light is not enough
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

Amazon delivers in some place with drones.

This however is a company called Zipline:

    https://www.zipline.com/

    The bill themselves as:
"Zipline is the world's largest autonomous delivery system, specializing in on-demand drone delivery and instant logistics."

That is quite the investment of equipment and recharging capabilities. Clearly well trained “pilots” are needed to minimize accidents which would likely be costly

My guess is that there aren't pilots, they are autonomous. I looked on the zipline site and while a human does some basic route planning, the drone is mostly autonomous...

I remember seeing videos about this company years ago. It was like an alternative to bush pilots, but for delivery medications to remote villages in Africa. Pretty cool stuff.

It'll change everything in warfare soon enough. I wonder what the Ukraines could do with those.

Kids being born now someday will look out the window and casually remark, there's the delivery drone outside. What's for supper tonight?

a little scary looking. I see this as a derivative of in-air refueling and of NASA docking, which I suppose is derivative of docking tiremes...a derivative of rolling the ox cart between a couple rocks.
