    Too bad there is no dash cam video from someone following that!!! Have to wonder HOW it happened..

    I would have to assume that the driver was cruising down the highway with the dump box up for some reason. I don't know where this "seems to happen a lot".
    I drove dump trucks and ready mix trucks for 20 years and NEVER saw anything like this happen. (except for on youtube videos)

    I actually have seen it happen once time. But it has happened a few times here in central Ohio. The one I saw the bed just ripped some wires across the road. He had left the PTO engaged and the dump lever got activated as he was driving. Not loaded.

    Another one, the guy was on the freeway, bed raised up for some reason. Caught a bridge as he went under it, slammed the cab up into the underside of the bridge, killed the driver.

    Once in Florida where I used to live. I've also seen bridges with chunks missing. I understood it was driving with an unlocked bed and it could slowly rise or bounce up.
