Forged this engraving chisel from an old file. The tool seems to work the way it's supposed to. It's the user that needs some practice!

They aren't too terribly hard to forge. It's getting the cutting angle right that's the tough part. I used a protractor to get the 110 degree angle. I did read that 120 degrees is a good angle for a beginner just getting into it because that makes less of a chance to gouge too deep as you're going along
