Question Exotic wood guy and I make many items

    Hi All,
This is the first for me so I will just mention a few items I make mostly out of Exotic Hardwoods as I have many board feet of this type of wood from Rose wood to Blood wood.
I make Jewelry Boxes, Men's Valets, jewelry like rings, etc. I like to make Custom Made Knives for the Kitchen and Hunting and the latest is a Machete for my Grandson. I also have 2 men's Valets out of Black Walnut started and in the build process.
I have a full shop but it is small due to Machines and other equipment. I need a great storage system and everything put on wheels that I can to make room. Future jobs are to make my own router lift to fit my Router table. I also have a Shopsmith arm router that needs work as I would like to extend its height and even more than that stiffen it to stop it from Gapping on a normal size cut on Black Walnut and harder woods as it will not properly flatten a board currently. The pipe Diameter for the Arm is 2.75" in diameter and the Back support is very thin metal and need to be BRASED POSSIBLY BY ANGLE IRON OR A CHANNEL TO TAKE THE LOAD. the issue is only fore and aft not side to side currently!

Any help or ideas would be great but I could not attach my pictures to show my items?

    Signing off for now,

    EWG:

Welcome to the forums, Exotic Wood Guy.

And yes, a picture would be nice to show the people here how you can brace that arm.

    Hi Exotic Wood Guy,

Welcome - glad to have you here!

Your woodworking creations sound neat; I'm looking forward to seeing some photos.

If you post a note in our Help Me Build subforum requesting ideas for a storage system, router lift, arm brace, etc., you're sure to get some useful input.

That material is Burl from Oregon that I picked up years ago I also have many types of Exotic Hard Wood like Red Heart Yellow Heart, Purple Heart, Hondurus Rosewood and many more. I have sold a few Hunting Knives and my designs show only the blade metal and Exitic Hardwoods. The Burl is Myrtle.
