for working on a vehicle while it is up on the rack I have assembled if I need to lift the front or the rear of the vehicle I needed a good stable jack stand to mount a hydraulic jack on, SO I made this
base pipe 5in. OD sch 40 stem 4 1/2in. OD Sch 80 base disk 12in. dia. 1/2in. thick 6 pads or feet 5in disk 1/4in thick braces 1 1/4in sq tube 3/16 thick top plate 7in. dia. 1/2in. thick
