Fabrication frame
I am getting ready to build something that requires an 8ft wide work support So I had a trailer chassis I made a number of years ago to transport a van body out here from Ft. Worth After transporting it I had no use for the chassis any more and it has just been stored on the property. Since it was made of a pair of really good 10" by 6" beams I figured they would do nicely for my fit up stand here is what I did

One nice thing about having a pair of 8ft long work horses is it was easy to level and square everything up. Since I have a dirt floor I just picked up one end and spread more dirt under which ever leg was low until both work stands were level and parallel to each other

Hi Frank
That again is not the average build. I must confess I also like using trestles but mine are commercially produced and look like matchsticks compared to this build. Looking forward to seeing what you do next with them.
