    No, it immediately lost lift when the propellers lost any structural integrity as soon as it was even a little warmed up...it was a glob of lost plastic well before he tried to kick it.

    Except for the fact that it was blowing the warm / hot air down while blowing the higher, cool air at the fire. Had he not allowed the drone to drop so far, it would definitely have worked.
