Where is the water in contact with the fire? Carl.

There is most likely a heat exchanger between the inner and outer walls of the fire box.
The shower head would have to be very low flow, considering how small the fire is. The math may work out if the variables are known.
It is apparently a fairly common setup among the hardcore off-grid community. To each their own, I guess.
